Antique Chair Reveal

Hi everyone. I realize I'm a little slow at starting out my blog but I am super excited to reveal the makeover on the old antique chair I posted a few months back.

This is what the chair looked like before:

And...(drumroll please).....here is the after!

I started by carefully removing the old fabric. I cut the same pattern out using the original fabric. I then upholstered the chair with the new fabric using upholstery tacks. I finished it off with decorative trim in the same color. I love the rich blue velvet and I absolutely love the way it even makes the wood look so much richer.
